15 Acres of tree-lined, open prairie in a rural setting at the interchange of 2 highways. Conveniently located near golf, historic sites and agri-tourism. The park is well developed and kept very neat and clean with room for growth.
Approximately 4,600 square foot barn built in the early 1900’s and brought to the property in 1965 houses the office, store, laundry, restrooms and storage rooms. The store sells basic grocery items, snacks and gifts. The restrooms were renovated in 2009 with solid plastic dividers instead of metal that can rust, 4 showers are in both the men’s and women’s. Two of the showers in each side are “family” friendly for guests with small children or for guests needing assistance. The second floor consists of approximately 2,800 square feet of living space featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living, dining, family rooms and a laundry room. It opens to a large deck overlooking the campground.
3 Hot tubs await those over 18 years old, while the spray zone is available for people of all ages.
Large building located near the playground is used for guests to enjoy table games, puzzles, reading material and travel literature. A new roof was put on during 2009.
New feature in 2009 is a fenced dog run that has obstacles for dogs to run around or jump over. A bench outside is for the dog owner’s to watch.
