Memories over the campfire and cozy cabins
After a day on the river with your canoe or fly fishing gear, head back to the camp for the stories around the evening’s fire. Guests can select among 10 cozy cabins, 41 water and electric RV sites, or “rough it” with the new primitive tent sites that will be built. Waking to the scent of fresh fish pan fried over the camp stove, guests embark on another day of creating great memories. Other features include a store and gift shop.
 
 
Just over 7 acres in a popular tourist area for canoeing and kayaking. The park sits just 1⁄4 mile from one of the state’s best rivers for canoeing. This river is great for fly fishing, and on the National Register of Wild and Scenic Rivers. Located along a state highway about an hour’s drive from a metropolitan area.
24’ x 30’ log sided exterior and a metal roof houses the camp office and store. The interior is paneled with rustic wood and has rustic cedar log shelving. Air conditioning keeps the building cool in the warm summer months. The store sells a limited supply of groceries, camping supplies, and gift items.
30’ x 40’ pole barn with a concrete floor is insulated and has work benches, a full sliding 20’ door and a service door. It is heated with a wood stove and is used to store the maintenance equipment.
All 10 cabins measure 10’ x 20’ with an 8’ x 20’ covered porch and have “D” log siding and metal roofs. All have tongue and groove 2’ x 6’ floor joists, heat and air conditioning, a small refrigerator, television, table and 2 chairs. Each sleep up to 5 guests on 2 beds. All furniture is made from cedar logs.
Completely renovated in 2006, the 48’ x 30’ building has log siding, metal roof and epoxy coated floors for easy maintenance. The entryway has paneling matching that in the main building. Both men’s and women’s have white paneled walls with cedar log stalls and furniture. The men’s has 3 showers, 2 toilets, 1 urinal and a double sink. The women’s has 4 showers, 4 toilets and 2 double sinks. The entry area has a soft drink machine, washer and dryer hookup. There is also a janitor supply room. There is a sink area on the outside of the building. Water is heated by a high volume hot water heater.
2001 24’ x 40’ Redman home featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, laundry, living room dining room and kitchen. It has air conditioning and is heated with gas. A deck is at the front entrance. The home is situated on a large, nicely landscaped lot with rustic cedar rail fencing around it. A concrete driveway is between the home and the camp office.
