Located in a small town long known for its natural area. This park is very easy to manage. It features 40 water and electric sites, 5 housekeeping cabins and 1 camping cabin. The snack bar is popular with guests and with local people. The local elementary school even plans field trips to this park because it is so nice and has mini golf and fun mini-bicycles.
7.2 Acres of mature trees and open areas. The land is level with excellent drainage and is fenced on 2 sides. The location is on the edge of a small town and not far from the canoe livery. The nearby national forest brings lots of people for weekends and vacations. This park will prepare and pack lunches for guests as they canoe the river.
Wood frame and concrete building on partial basement foundation houses the registration office, store, snack bar and residence. The store is well stocked and offers many grocery and gift items guests need for weekend stays. The snack bar features quick foods such as pizza, sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs and snack foods. Ice cream sundaes and novelty treats are very popular. The residences is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home attached to the office and store. It also has an office, kitchen, living room and utility room.
5 Housekeeping cabins are in immaculate condition, fully furnished. Guests need only bring personal items. Each of these cabins sleep from 4 to 6 guests, have spacious front porches, kitchens and bathrooms. All have heat and air conditioning. One camping cabin sleeps up to 4 guests.
Consists of a 2 story concrete and frame building with men’s and women’s restrooms in the lower level, laundry room with 3 washers and 4 dryers and a folding table, and a utility room. There are also 4 private showers each with separate entrances. The upper level is an apartment.
