This 2023 President’s Award winning KOA offers easy access to an Interstate. It is a frequent stay for travelers to Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone. Pipeline repairs are planned in the area for the next 5-6 years and the park has about 20 monthly campers. Most of the customers are 1-night stays, who come in the evening and leave in the morning. The property is very quiet and peaceful with spacious sites that are mostly pull-thrus. Customers like that they are not crammed together. Area attractions include a unique museum, Mall of America, casino, and much more. At the campground guests can enjoy the playground, walking trails, or a nice campfire. Large spaces are available for camping groups, such as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts or family reunions. Motorcyclists are welcome, whether headed for Sturgis or getting away for a few days.
