Family-oriented campground centrally located in Michigan. It is 2 hours from Detroit, 1 hour from Lansing, and 1.5 hours from Grand Rapids. The park is nestled amongst the forest and teeming with wildlife. Lodging consists of deluxe and rustic cabins, and 87 water and electric campsites. There is entertainment both young and old can enjoy without having to leave the campground. A variety of on-site activities include pancake breakfasts, crafts for people of all ages, walking trails, swimming pond, sand volleyball tournaments, and KampK9® for four-legged friends. During holidays and themed weekends there is music and movies on the beach. Venturing out of the park, guests can hike, swim, fish, ATV, golf, dine, bowl, and take in a show or go to the waterpark at Soaring Eagle Casino, 20 minutes away in Mt. Pleasant.
Lakeside park with 45 sites on 22 acres. This is a quiet and easily managed business with a seasonal base staying at the park on summer weekends. Guests come to be near the water and have a place to tie off and store their watercraft. Campground amenities include a bathhouse, large pole barn with new siding and concrete, marina with new floating docks for 2023. Horseshoe courts, playground, foosball, and tether ball. There are ATV and ORV trails accessible across from the property. Local attractions include nearby Houghton Lake for dining, shopping, and summer festivals and fishing tournaments.
