Established river rental and campground business welcomes guests from a wide area to the picturesque Ozark foothills in southern Missouri. The Current River is part of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways and is ideal for floaters of all skill levels. The cool and clear waters are irresistible on hot summer afternoons, and the campground is located in a well-kept wooded area near the water. Rentals include canoes, kayaks, rafts, and tubes. Several drop-off and take-out locations allow for varied trip lengths.
The campground is a short walk from the take-out spot near the office, and campers appreciate the cleanliness of the bathhouse and grounds. The store offers firewood, ice, and float items. Perfect river for floating in a raft, tube, canoe, or kayak, even for beginners. 3 float trips are available, each taking between 3-12 hours. Guests meet at the store and are taken upstream to the start of the float. They can take their time and enjoy a picnic at one of the gravel bars along the river. When they are ready to finish, they float back to the campground where they can walk to their tent or RV. If they drove to the store, they are given a lift back to their car. Dogs are welcome on floats and guests can also fish for smallmouth bass.
The campground is conveniently located at the float trip take-out spot and just a short walk from the park store.
Adjacent to the campground is a public park with baseball fields, basketball court, sand volleyball court, playground, walking track, and boat ramps.

The portable office space includes a store and is located within the same building. Public restrooms and changing rooms are adjacent to the store in a separate building. The store offers branded merchandise and is fully stocked with all the necessities to cater to camping and floating needs.
There is a single concrete block bathhouse that contains two hot water heaters, six flushing toilets, two urinals, seven showers, eight sinks and ample counter space, as well as toilet paper and paper towel holders. Separate men’s and women’s rooms, each with their own storage closets are also present.
There is an air-conditioned one-room wooden cabin, which comes equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, table and chairs, queen size bed, smart TV and WiFi. Additionally, there are four camping pods, each with a mini fridge, microwave, table and chairs, queen size bed, and a full bathroom.
There are four Conex containers and one covered breezeway used for storing floating equipment and maintenance tools.
