Grist Mill
This building was constructed in 1738 and is a registered historic landmark that is now used for tours. The facility covers a total of 3,680 gross square feet over two levels. As a Mill property deeded in 1728 it was customary to own the head race upstream to protect the investment in a functioning grist mill. Therefore the business owns both sides of the stream for about 3/4 of a mile starting at the mill and extending upstream.
