The campground is easily accessible, yet a world away in terms of peace, quiet, and sheer relaxation. It is located below the Blue Ridge Mountain Range. It is in a very quiet setting 1/3 of a mile from the main road and there are no trains, planes or automobiles nearby. Whether a guest’s definition of camping involves a tent, pop-up camper, trailer, motorhome or a great cabin rental, the park provides a full range of camping opportunities.
In addition to the typical amenities, the park offers a swimming pool, fishing pond, wooden playground for the youngsters, pedal cart rentals, a 9-hole disc golf course, and hiking trails are minutes away. There are many planned activities centered around the recreation hall. In addition there is a wide range of events scheduled throughout the season in the county and the surrounding communities, including several major automotive events.
