The local business district is also a quick drive from the park, where there is a Walmart, H-E-B, pharmacies, restaurants, laundromats, etc. The area is home to many large employers such as Formosa Plastic, Alcoa, DOW Chemical, Orion Marine and many more in the manufacturing and energy sectors.
